About Belcrest Farms

Hey Y’all, we are the Howland Family. Jeff and Michelle grew up in sunny Southern California and moved our family to the mountains of beautiful Bozeman, Montana in 2019. Jeff worked in the food service industry for over 10 years. Michelle worked as a Vet Tech part time and stayed home with our 2 amazing boys, Grayson (9) and Hudson (7). We desired a change but didn’t know what that looked like for our family until Michelle had the crazy & wonderful idea of leaving our busy life in suburban California for the slower pace of ranch life in Montana.  Michelle grew up dreaming of living in the Treasure State.  She rode horseback in the Big Sky mountains as a child and loved every minute of it. Jeff had a love for great food from an early age and dreamed of being a chef.

Our lives in California revolved around things we loved: Family, FOOD & Animals but something was missing. Our time together as a family was not high in quantity or quality and something had to change. Insert Montana! A real dream come true! With Jeff’s aspiration of entrepreneurship and Michelle’s love for animals, Belcrest Farms was born! 

This is a family business and we love working together on a daily basis. Michelle’s Mom Kristy moved to Bozeman with the family too. Having her here with us has made the transition much easier and she helps around the farm daily.
